Depression
Depression is more than sadness or a bad mood. It can show up as persistent low mood, emptiness, hopelessness, fatigue, difficulty concentrating, changes in sleep or appetite, loss of interest in activities, or feelings of worthlessness or guilt. For some, depression is loud and overwhelming; for others, it is quiet and numbing. All forms are valid, and all deserve care.
Depression is common, treatable, and not a personal failure.
Depression therapy may be helpful if you:
Feel persistently sad, numb, or empty
Struggle with motivation or energy
Feel disconnected from yourself or others
Experience shame, guilt, or self-criticism
Have difficulty functioning at work, school, or in relationships
Are coping with loss, trauma, life transitions, or chronic stress
