I draw on both my professional expertise and my personal experience of navigating trauma to support clients through life’s challenges. Having lived through my own difficult experiences, I bring deep empathy and understanding to my work, helping clients feel truly seen and heard. I work with individuals managing anxiety, depression, stress from unexpected changes, behavioral concerns, and the process of re-entry after incarceration. I also support adults and children who are currently in—or have experienced—the foster care system, with a focus on attachment and trauma-related challenges.
My therapeutic approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Neuropsychotherapy, and strengths-based, person-centered care, creating a safe, nonjudgmental space for clients to explore their experiences, build resilience, and grow toward lasting change.
I earned my Doctor of Social Work Doctoral degree from the University of Southern California, a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Minnesota Duluth, focusing on Indian Child Welfare, and a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from the University of Wisconsin Superior. With experience in child welfare, the criminal justice system, and inpatient psychiatric treatment, combined with my personal journey through trauma, I am deeply committed to helping clients find hope, empowerment, and healing.
